IT Department has announced that it has extended the last date for filing Income Tax Return for A.Y 2019-20 (F.Y 2018-19).
The IT Department has extended the last date for submitting Income Tax Return for A.Y 2019-20 (FY 2018-19). The last date has been extended from 31st July to 30th September 2020. In a tweet from IT official handle, The Income Tax department announced that, “In response to the constraints due to the Covid-19 pandemic situations & to further ease compliance for taxpayers, CBDT has extended the regular filing due date for filing of Income Tax Returns for FY 2018-19 (A.Y 2019-20) from 31st July 2020 to 30th September 2020, vide Notification in S.O. 2512(E) dated 29th July 2020.”
